Bonfire weekend goes off with a bang

Down at the Mendlesham tow field things were heating up for bonfire weekend, click page icon below left for more.....

A number of pilots turned out for a days winching at the clubs main inland tow site. After fitting brand new cables and parachutes to the winch operations were underway. Soon colourful gliders filled the sky like an early daylight firework display. With little thermal activity the pilots concentrated on polishing off their landings or glandings in prep for next months winter spot landing comp. hope to see you there.
