I was surprised to recently learn that some flying clubs pack up for the winter for fear of damaging their runway. Well I can tell you that’s not the case here at the Suffolk coastal floaters. We have been flying through the bitter cold, the snow and ice and even the muddy fields.
That’s all in the past because spring is here! The days are getting lighter and the air starting to bubble. This year is going to be big for our club with more tows than this time last year and more members too.
